The hiking routes are countless, crossing dirt trails and cobbled paths, literally planted in natural lush germination. From "Saily" as starting point, you are given the opportunity to enjoy a separate journey without having to travel by car. Starting and ending our accommodation and by providing you the appropriate instructions , you will experience the incredible beauty of a small canyon called "Chalémata Gorge" that connects the village of Afetes with Afissos.
The most part of the route is aside of the riverbed, under the shade of sycamore trees, laurels and both left and right endless olive groves. The dew on the way will relax and calm you down! On the way you will come across a variety of wild plants, a wooden handmade bridge that leads you to the village of Afetes and an arched shaped made of stone old bridge at the exit of the village. While you pass through the square from Afissos you will see the faucet from witch the crew of Argos took water before the Argonauts war campaign.
In Pelion there is the Association "Friends of the Caldera" and every Sunday organizes free hikes, you will be really excited about the work of these people and the tour.
